JOBO TecnoLab Delta TV Film Processor

"After using our JOBO TecnoLab TV E-6 processor for nearly ten years as the only Kodak Q-Lab in Alabama, there was no question, but to select another TecnoLab for our new C-41 line."
Stephen Savage, Savage Photo Lab, Mobile, Alabama.

When you have lots of film to process, with non-standard developing times, you need a JOBO TecnoLab Delta TV hanger processor. Its two-lift design enables you to process more push/pull film per hour than a single-lift machine, and its automatic magnet sensing system keeps it simple. Filled with a huge assortment of standard features, our TV (Time Variable) processors keep life simple. Just load the film onto a hanger, add magnets if it requires push or pull processing, and place it on the machine. The processor will take care of the rest.

JOBO TecnoLab Delta TV processors are available in widths from 2-across to 12 across in 35mm film, and in capacities up to 540 rolls per hour. They are particularly desirable for E-6 and BW processing but also useful in C-41 labs whose customers desire push/pull processing. As with all of the Delta series TecnoLab processors, a built-in surface area calculator simplifies the procedure of precisely determining replenishment rates to maintain perfect processing results.

Reliability is built into every TecnoLab processor, and as the top of the TecnoLab line, the Delta TV processors have every control imaginable. Individual control of the timing for nitrogen in the first and color developer tanks for E-6, enable you to precisely adjust the agitation as one element of perfect processing. A motorized, self-aligning pre-loader straightens out hangers if you accidentally load them misaligned. A motorized shutter keeps the heat in the dryer, and reduces evaporation which is caused whenever the hot air from the dryer passes over the chemicals, while the shutter also keeps out the light from the dryer. The lift cycle’s slow speed as the lift rack "goes over the top" from one tank to the next can be controlled for perfectly smooth transition. A built-in test function enables you to confirm proper operation as you start your daily cycle of processing. The list goes on and on….

Everything about the JOBO TecnoLab Delta TV has been prepared so you can concentrate on your customers and their film, rather than your equipment. Check out the list of standard features below and then the specification charts that follow for some of our most popular sizes. Remember that we have many more sizes than we have shown here, and that we can custom build our TecnoLab processors to suit your specific needs. With over 150 models and sizes already in our portfolio, we probably have the perfect machine for your needs.

JOBO TecnoLab Time-Variable Film Processors

Standard Features

  • "Full" battery backup, operating the lift rack, air pumps, nitrogen and wash water solenoid valves during power failure. No human intervention is needed.

  • A true 4-column lift operation to evenly support the main lift rack

  • Magnet sensor system for automatic variable time control of each hanger. 63 Times can be selected from 4 minutes to 16 minutes, and the selectable increments themselves can be adjusted down to the second.

  • Nitrogen low pressure alarm; sensors indicate if there is insufficient nitrogen available. Both an audible and an on-screen alarm message are provided.

  • 10 roll film hangers included (6 - 135/36; 4 - 120)

  • Motorized, 6-hanger, self aligning pre-loader

  • LCD Control Panel with graphic display of normal processor functions

  • Stainless steel film recovery baskets in every tank

  • 3-door access to the film dryer

  • Replenisher storage console with dosimetric pumps to deliver replenisher automatically. Size of the console varies with the size of each processor. (30, 60 or 120 liter sizes available)

  • Seven day clock for automatic startup and shutdown

  • Dual track, actual position hanger sensing; the processor really "knows" exactly where every hanger is located throughout the tanks.

  • Motorized Heat/Light trap; keeps heat in the dryer, and light out of the darkroom.

  • Nitrogen and water economizers; these functions are only switched on when there is actually a rack in a position to need them.

  • Individual timing control for nitrogen in 1st and color developers and air agitation cycles

  • Built-in compressors for air agitation

  • Water flowmeters for accurate wash rates

  • Pump platform - provides easy access to circulation pumps as well as a convenient platform to stand on when maintaining the machine.

  • 2 speed lifts with drip stop function on main lift to reduce carry-forward of chemicals

  • Individual temperature control for each solution tank

  • On-screen fuse status indicators

  • Dryer fan and heater safety sensors

  • Adjustable replenishment for precise or averaged replenishment

  • Touch sensitive lift rack safety system for both up and down movement

  • Full operation "test" function; handy for testing at the start of each day

  • Fine filtering on First and Color Developers in E-6, all circulated baths on C-41 and BW

Optional Items available

  • Complete nitrogen panel with humidifier and pressure regulating manometers provide precise control separately for First and Color Developer agitation

  • Additional fine filtering on secondary solution tanks of E-6 machines (C-41 and BW include fine filtering on all circulated baths as standard)

  • Built-in motorized mixers in chambers of the replenisher console

  • Larger size replenisher console (60 or 120 liters)

  • Mirror construction

  • Coded hangers for automatic replenishment control.

What is a less expensive alternative? What’s the next step up?

The JOBO TecnoLab Delta Micro Compact TV is a less expensive and lower volume alternative with 2-lift capability.  The JOBO TecnoLab Delta Micro is less expensive with the same volume capacity as the TV models discussed on the pages above, but without the 2-lift capability.

The next step up is still among the JOBO TecnoLab Delta TV processors, but in larger sizes than shown here.  We offer machines with capacities up to 540 rolls per hour in C-41 and 360 rolls per hour in E-6 or BW.
