Nova Five Star Plus #200044

Nova Five Star Plus

We all know how that wonderful creative workshop we call a darkroom is all the better with a safelight. But, when it comes to finding one that is bright enough to actually see by and yet ‘safe’ enough to allow us to work with today’s really sensitive materials, we can’t find one that fits our particular needs.

Use the Nova Five Star with the following media:
All fiber and RC b/w VC and graded papers
All color negative RA-4 paper
All color reversal paper, including Ilfochrome and Kodak R3000

The illumination is fully adjustable, meaning you can vary the light output to suit any size darkroom. The light heads are very small, and are fitted with 5 LED’s in the form of a domino-pattern. Using the supplied Velcro, this light head can be attached to just about anything - and quickly detached and used in a ‘torch-like’ fashion when you need to locate and retrieve any lost or mislaid item.

#200044 Nova Five Star Plus ships complete with one 2-Meter Terminating Cable and one #200045 2-Meter Extension Cable.

#200045 2-Meter Extension Cable
#200046 4-Meter Extension Cable

MiniLux Safe Light #6410

MiniLux If you've ever lost something on the floor while dark, find yourself turning on the lights because your lens doesn't have the stops illuminated, or any of the other myriad of reasons you need a little light quickly -- you need a MiniLux.

The MiniLux is a portable, battery operated, hand held darkroom safelight you use with color or B/W papers. The length of time you can expose paper to light varies quite a bit so you should do some testing. The MiniLux has to brightness levels, and a photocell which turns itself off when the lights come on (saves on batteries). Two AA batteries (not included) are required to operate the MiniLux.

MiniLight Safe Light #6415

The MiniLight is the poor-man's equivalent to the MiniLux #6410 described above. It has all the benefits of the MiniLux without the extra brightness level or photocell auto-shutoff. It's physically the same size too.
