The processor accomplishes the complete cycle of
development and fixing of the material automatically. The process parameters can
individually be changed to the different types of paper and processes. On starting the
machine, the unit goes over into the Stand- By phase after accomplishing a
self-check and reaching the working temperature.
This means that the Solution temperature of the working
solutions is maintained.
Open the lid of the feed-in area. Put the paper, emulsion
side up, on the feed-in tray. Use the left wall of the tray as a guide to ensure that the
paper is put in parallel to the transport rollers. Push it slowly forward (the machine
starts working) until the rollers start transporting the paper As soon as you have closed
the lid of the feed-in area, you can turn on the light. Do not feed in paper too quickly,
one after the other, to avoid paper overlap. The transport motor switches off
approximately 20 seconds after the paper has come out. A beep indicates when the feed-in
area is free for inserting the next print.
Due to the normal processing of photo paper, BX becomes
contaminated by CD. The liquid level of tank 1 drops and has to be filled up with
replenisher or fresh developer from time to time.
Safety devices
When opening the cover of the unit, a safety switch
turns off the drive. All heating elements are fitted with a safety temperature switch,
which is activated in case the components overheat and is turned on again automatically
after cooling.
Note: When processing several sheets at one time, always
make sure that the last print is inserted at the left side, otherwise not all prints may
exit the processor.
