Processor used: CPP-2
Years used: New
Used to develop: Sheet film

Comments: WOW!!!!

Years ago, when I began shooting 4x5, I developed all of my film by hand. It was miserable, standing there for what seemed like hours with my fingers immersed in chemistry. No matter how hard I tried to be gentle, I would always end up with some negatives scratched. Then I bought a tank to develop my film sheets in. Then I had the problem with at least half of my negatives being stained.

NOT NOW! I just purchased a CPP-2 processor and the 3010 Expert Drum. I can’t even begin to describe how great these negatives look! The costs seemed too high for your equipment at first but with the quality of the negatives I am putting out now, your equipment is worth every dime!!!

Comments: Jobo allows us full control of our final images. This, in my estimation, is the most valuable part of photography. The equipment is well made and functions flawlessly. We do ALL of our color work and most of our B&W with our CPP-2. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Comments: I have used a Jobo CPP2 with a lift for over 10 years. Combined with a TBE-2 and a Jobo Timer it makes darkroom work a pleasure. I can’t imagine processing film and making prints without them. They not only save time, they also give consistent superior results.

Processor used: CPP-2
Years used: 4
Used to develop: Roll Film, Sheet Film, Black and White Film, Black and White Prints

Comments: The CPP-2 processor + lift makes processing film and paper so much easier than using trays. The chemical odors are kept to a minimum, no need for hands in the chemicals, and temperature control is outstanding. Further, it is a treat not to have to work in the dark while processing film and paper, aside from loading the drums. Consistency in the resulting products is also a major salient point.

Comments: The consistent processing quality with minimum use of chemistry are qualities I have always appreciated about my Jobo processors. I have used Jobo processors for over 14 years and only recently found it necessary to replace the retention clips on the lift. Great machines with a small footprint and a lot of versatility!

Comments: After setting up a complex and expensive model shoot in a stunning locale like Canyon de Chelly, it is nice to know I will be developing the slides myself. I maintain total control of the film.

As an instructor, I conduct workshops in exotic locales which have no local photo finishing services. To provide daily feedback to the students, my CPP-2 lets us develop E-6 in motel rooms, bathrooms, etc. This versatility has been extremely useful.

Dave B
Custom Lab

Processor used: CPP-2
Years used: 10+
Used to develop: Roll Film, Sheet Film, Black and White Film

Comments: It is the best and most economical processor on the market. I completely wore my first one out after processing over 15,000 rolls of film. The only repairs were the replacement on one drive motor. The second one is still going strong. Over the years many minor improvements have been made to make it a superb machine.

Edward D.
Part-time Professional Photographer

Processor used: CPP-2
Years used: 2

Comments: I was completely new to the darkroom when I purchased my JOBO processor.  I have moved from serious hobbyist to part-time photographer in order to pay for all my equipment.  I also have been taking team photos for the various work sports leagues as well as taking action shots at the local Go-Kart racing tracks.  I started doing my own developing on the JOBO to ensure consistency for roll to roll, and print to print.  I never knew what kind of quality I would get from the local labs, but now my color work is dead on.

Comments: It's been a great investment, the best part for me is the quality of the negatives I get.  I also like the compact size of the unit for limited space.  I like being able to make 16x20" prints and it works well with color negative images...which I prefer.
